Solvang

SoCal → NorCal
Long roadtrip breather pt.2

From Santa Barbara, we headed north-west to Santa Ynez Valley to the city of Solvang. By the time we arrived, it was already 5pm. We still had two other places to go to so we didn’t spend much time here, just about 30 minutes!

Solvang is Danish for “sunny field” and I think that’s beautiful. This historic town is basically like a Danish village who’s known for its many wineries. With its traditional Danish style architecture, it’s like Denmark in California.

It was sad we didn’t get to explore Solvang that much. It was like a race against time! After a few minutes of walking, we left and headed for Morro Bay. Stay tuned for the next post!
